Founded in April of 2008 out of a frustration from dealing with bandmates over the years, Sacramento, California's Noisepsalm is the solo endeavor of Matthew Lewis. Noisepsalm tends to function as less of a body of solo works and more of a collabrative project with many other artists and talent.

Participating collaborators have included Rhedcerulean, Lady J and Rain, contributing everything from syths, loops and digital tweaks to inspiration and creative input. Noisepsalm's music is traditionally recorded in the studio and then DJ'ed live allowing for endless possibilities in texture and form. Matthew Lewis also performs live as DJ Papa Pill.

Noisepsalm should be releasing the E.P. "Ghost and Gillespie" during the summer or early fall of 2008 with the first full length release, Textured Repetition, due on January 29, 2009 from Flux Production.
