special thanks go out to everyone who supported this edition. after an almost 15-year hiatus from releasing compilations, we are happy to present another family of auricular artists spanning the globe and styles, resulting in one of the most diverse and enticing compilations we have released to date.

response to the resurrection of the auricular audio magazine series was so overwhelming that we will be able to release the next installment shortly after this issue hits the market, and yet another soon after that. once again, with the support of the indie music community, we are back out of the gates bringing you the strange, unusual, ephemeral and unheard.

this first edition in the reborn series is unique from others of the past as we have the added opportunity to present additional media from, and for, each artist via this website. many artists have contributed artwork, photos, and video - as well as additional audio tracks - to enhance the audio release.
